Creating a successful visual brand starts long before any camera is picked up.  It involves a deep dive into your company's identity, values, audience, and goals. Without this consultative step, I've seen a lot of wasted efforts in my industry where creators take their own personal vision and miss the mark for their client.

These initial steps include meeting to brainstorm and develop ideas and only then can pre-production planning begin. This includes identify shoot locations, scheduling, and arranging any required talent.  For instance, a photoshoot for a new restaurant obviously involves finding the setting that highlights the desired ambiance and aesthetic. This also involves casting models (or staff) to participate, ensuring everyone knows their role and what to expect.

Knowing what to pay attention to and giving that attention to detail is critical for a smooth shoot.

Shooting day is always a dynamic environment where creativity, precision, and constant feedback are critical.  As is post-production, when the editing process begins.  Referring back to our original conversations regarding company identity, I turn raw images into professionally polished visuals. This includes color correction, retouching, and possibly graphic elements to align with your brand’s style.

Once final images are approved, they’re ready for use across marketing channels, from social media to print ads, helping to create your cohesive visual identity.

A quick Google image search of your company will reveal your current visual messaging.  Assess what’s working and what can be improved.

Are these images fostering authentic interactions and influencing real conversations? I work with my clients to identify their visual brand identity and then produce authentic, brand-driven images to enhance their brand and appeal.
